Default New Exhaust and retune = FG 11.95@ 116 mph

A barmy Brisbane night 90% humidity but still manged a PB with the new exhaust and retune. We have also replaced the factory paper thin conector pipes out of the tirbo and either side of the cooler.Cant wait for the new Nizpro cooler and to go out again.

Cheers Paul

The FG F6 is far better starting point than its predesessor.
Its makes heaps more power stock and has more potential.

Great results!!

Has there been any other mods than the exhaust, tune and connector pipes?

Paul.

60 ft was 1.852
Exhaust is the prototype tornado system.
3.5 inch. same type of spiral internals in the mufflers as the 888 race cars.
As with our BF its from the flange back.
Any other mods? Only Mt street radial which i drove the car out on.

Cheers Paul

What power were you making before the new exhaust and retune? Also did you give it a run before these current mods?

Are you running factory injectors?

Are you driving it manual mode and how much boost off the line.

Sorry for all the questions!!!

Cheers, Paul.

ripper time nice 60 foot, with the new exhaust your MPH (116mph) is still similar to when it was running the stock exhaust(114.7mph), an improvement of .200 and joins the 11 sec club, well done.

The bigger from stock tuning scope comes from the FG factory injectors they are bigger than BA/BF injectors.
To run an 11 in a BF F6 same mods as the FG just add injectors and fuel pump.

He was on MT street radials, which he drove out there on.

It was good to watch. I think there is plenty more MPH in this current setup with the right weather. It was still quite warm even at the end of the night. I was comfortable all night in shorts and a singlet.

Well done Paul!

M/T drag radials 275x40x17 its the only wheel and size M/T radial you can get to go over the standard F6 brakes.

Aussie dollar has made it so expensive to buy, I am fitting AU falcon rear brakes for a few months and trying the 235x60x15, ls1 guys love them more flex in the 60 wall is better than having a wider tyre some say..
