Default Little things you hate about your car...

For me its the sun visor clips on the BA. Its so difficult to get the sun visor out in a hurry.

Who ever designed that needs their head read!!

Really? I've never noticed. I might have the knack. There isn't much I don't like about my Ba. I'm struggling to think of anything that really annoys me.

Hmmmm.

My tiny petrol tank.. Can only squeeze in 36L if it is bone dry. And that still gets me 470km... would have loved to have at least a 45L tank... I do around 600km a week, and hate having to fill up 3 times a fortnight.

When filling the petrol tank in the XY gets about 3/4 full then it spills out all over the side of the car. For both the XY and XB lack of aircon + power steer. Thats about it. Oh and how bloody hot the seats get in the sun.

The squeaks, the rattles, the oil leaks, the lifter noise, the wear and tear on the paint... but in all fairness it's nearly 19 years old so what can you expect?

Going slow when im filling it up, gets a bit tedious when it clicks on and off a million times...

The embarassing loud solenoid in the carbon cannister. Too lazy to fix it.

The original interior colour (but have almost changed it now).
The weird noise that happens when driving slow (been told it 'could' be so many different things it is starting to scare me lol).
The rattles from inside when sitting at lights and squeaks whilst driving around town.
The lovely shopping car park dents. The dents caused by neighbourhood brats playing with rocks and balls in the street.
The paint on the rear (looking very ordinary).
The dents in the bonnet that apparently won't be easy to fix or possibly not be fixed at all.
The fact I am only getting around 350klms per tank now compared to around 500klms was getting a year ago.

The list goes on and on but they are the main irritations at the moment

Moonshot gearing... First gear reaches 105km/h. Great when you want to floor it from 50, but ridiculous on take off.

The timing on the intermittent wipers on my RTV. Was used to variable..without it, seems too long between wipes! Small I know.

Oh and the fact the CD player plays up when its ben in the sun all day..PIA when driving in the outback...

On glass antenna - hopeless RF capability made worse with canopy...

The fact that I don't drive it enough since I got my bike.....

Seriously though - I hated the handbrake and brake shudder but that was fixed when I upgraded my brakes.

the sunvisors dont reach all the way to the end of the windscreen so you have to move your head towards the middle of the car
the auto box never going into 4th when cruising along - and when using SSS "slow sucky shifting" I always forget to change gears and end up driving around in 1st

the lack of power, i want to turn the world the other way every time i take off surely thats not a big ask :P

otherwise i love it to bits - you have to when it can out drink you and the car's drink costs less

I hate my boot in the BA, it is an odd shape and makes it look bigger than it actually is.

My handbrake
the scratches and carpark dings.
the fact that my sexy colour shows up dirt and swirls so well
my seat padding is dying, barely any support anymore(should get an XR interior if i can afford it next pay)
the weird slappy sound my exhaust is making at over 3000rpm since i had the centre muffler removed - unless it changes with carbon build up ill be putting resonators in there very soon

All the flames/decals on the coupe. Time for it to grow up and become an adult and the cold air that blows on my feet when we drive!
