Im sure if anything was revealed by FPV you wouldnt have to wait very long at all to see it posted up! around 0.0003658 milliseconds.. lol
PS your not the only one curious as to how MK11 FPV looks. -Hopefully rear end treatment to differentuate from the ford product especialy since look like no new rear changes by ford to the falcon rear.

The details will be out soon enough.

One would think that FG2 will look like the concept car that was at MMS.

I doubt there will be any major changes. Most likely stickers, wheels and a slight power boost.

I'm keen to know whether the GS will take on the front end of the new Falcon given that it already share and an uncanny resemblance to the now defunct XR8.

Default When can we expect FG FPV series 2?

Does anyone know when FG 2 updates will be filtered down into FPV?

I've been wanting a 335 GT for some time now, but have been waiting for the release of FG 2. The new touchscreen looks good.

I'd say midway through next year or the end of next year absolute latest. I expect big things from the typhoon. Maybe the GT-H will launch at the same time?

I doubt very much this year.

If you look in the pits there is a crew racing GT's in the production series, apparently with what I would think would be FG2 FPV upgrades (what we saw at the MMS)....so once that car is racing then it cant be to far away.

Unless they are allowed to race with the parts early.

The Black series has just come out so they will want to make sure they runs its course first I would have thought, perhaps a car to clear some parts sooner rather than later.

God I hope not, thats too late, needs to be brought into line with the rest of the ford range. I would expect 1st Quarter next year at the latest.

A big birdie wispered to me that the F6 will be making more than 310 KW's.
Have another look at that new massive lower air intake area on the FG2, guess what's going in there...and FPV are really making a huge effort to clear the old F6 310 Stock at a very special price, that and there's plenty of headroom to the 335 SC engine, you join the dots...

Now where can I place my hundred dollar bet on F6 325 ?
I'd guess Q2 2012. I'd still go for the SC 335 motor though, they're a real belter and sound fantastic.

F6 325 would only need a change of badge . . . . as would a gt 350

Couldn't agree more BUT the F6's intercooler / plumbing and transmission has been untouched since April 2008....

Wouldn't that depend just as much on emissions requirements as it would on what FPV may want to do?

Its one thing for an engine to be capable of putting out enough power, its another to be able to put out that much power while meeting the emissions requirements.

Agreed but throwing in a much higher volume intercooler lowers intake temps and gets more power without affecting emissions. The big birdie didn't go into details but improving the air flow and cooling is where its at for this engine IMO.

Surely they will have to at least update to the touch screen once its available on bread and butter falcon models. Probably the headlights as well since its most likely just a bolt in replacement.

I wonder if we'll still have the rather bizarre situation where a reverse camera is a significant cost option on the top model SC GT-P but standard fit on a relativly humble G6E, go figure that one...surely something they need to tidy up with the FG2 model release.

Well my F6 ute is 3 years old in December
I rarely keep a car this long
So a upgrade is needed
But with what?
Not buying another FG1 F6, to have the same car, but now with euro iv emissions
I wont buy a GS, I just dont want to go backwards (not meaning motor, but general vehicle)
So unless there is a decent and soon, upgrade in the F6, or the reincarnation of a Pursuit/Super Pursuit, there is a good chance that my money will go to another badge (and not a HSV, couldnt live with the boy racer plastic maloo thingy)

F6 is not getting more power. Different wheels is about the extent of it.

Heard that too, no body kit changes or power increases either. Just ICC and std rev camera.

If you look across at the G6E Turbo or Titanium Territory, you are left wondering what happened to the auto dimming mirror or the memory seats and sat nav among other things.

Its still bizarre to me that a GT-P misses things like memory seats. At that price point it should get everything including the kitchen sink.

Somehow I doubt FPV will do more then the minimum in bringing across FGII features, as there is still good money to be had in marking everything an extra cost option, when they get enough buyers to fork out for it.
