Yep probably a scam, just make sure you go see, and drive it first.

It's odd in the fact that it was for sale in Perth not long ago and had 27900 km on it
now has 30500 in the Gold Coast. If it was driven over it would have more km than that on it.Wasn't planning on buying it , just wondering what others thought of it.

it is a scam for sure. that seller also had a 2007 clubsport for 10k on my105. Basically you call and say you are interested he says he has someone coming over to buy it and puts the "people are coming over to buy, if you transfer the money is yours" turns out the car is old classified pictures and your 10k out of pocket.

find it funny that there is only one front side on photo of it? very dodgy, not to mention the plate on the front of the car doesn't look like a wa plate, yet the rego number in the ad is a wa rego number. it looks like a nsw plate to me... it would be interesting if someone from dpi here or even wa police could look up the plate and see who owns the car...

Why does it say on that page "Warning Don't Accept Paypal Payments"?

I thought paypal was meant to be good?

Normally with these sort of things if you enquire about the car the person is 'going through a messy divorce,' or overseas (UK seems a popular place)...Something to that effect. Anyway, the way I see it is that they ask for your a sufficient amount of details in which they can con the bank into thinking that they are you, or ask for a money transfer without actually letting you view the car. If you want to see the car it's either overseas ready to be shipped or with one of their friends.

If it sounds anything similar to this it's a clear scam. This one is obviously suspect regardless.

Forget the scam, what I'd like to know is why was it approved for sale on a "Muscle Car" website, a website specifically for "Muscle Care Sales", must be the exec muscle mover.

Flood damaged maybe?

more than likely a scam... but why bother paying to put a scam on a car sales website?
