Default Tyre pressure

I've got to put some air in the tyres.

What are people running in theirs? I know what the book will tell me, but I'd rather get some real world knowledge.

I'm running 38 psi all round. Some prefer slightly higher in the fronts for front wheel drive but I've run this pressure in my last 3 cars and I think it's a good combination of ride & handling plus I get great wear. The tyre placards are often biased towards a more comfortable ride but trade off in other areas. I've also had no issue with over inflation such as the centre of the tyre wearing with these pressures. Try it and see what you think.

38 all round also.

Tried lower "recommended" numbers but suffered with tramlining.

Tyre wear seems OK, and fuel economy improved slightly.

I run warm 40psi.

I like a lot of air in low profile tyres.

Makes the ride harsh, but saves the rim if you hit something decent.

Sounds like 38 all round is the go. I do like a firmer ride though. I wouldn't even know what the suggested rating is.
I'll put some more in this weekend.
Thanks for the info!
