Default New Forester - Baby Tezza?

Just been getting the first of the 2006 models in at work, can't believe how much the front end looks like a Tezza.

Anyone else seeing that?

Can't see it... I will say this though, it is an ugly beast but thank everything that is good that they have NOT incorporated the new "corporate grille" into it!!!!!!

I guess it's only a matter of time though, as this model really is only a minor facelift rather than a new model... next time around we might have to prepare the sick bags...

There is indeed, only had one or two in though. It's pretty much the same car, front panels are different, new tail lights, engine management is a bit different, few interior things. Major overhaul next model.

I can see the similarities to the territory in the front end. The headlights look crook though - it looks like they're upside down.
Has anyone else noticed that it looks very similar to a Nissan X-trail from the side?

Ummm no. Sure its got 4 round headlights and a grill in the centre and spots down below, but so do half the cars on the road. It looks like an updated Forester face to me.

please don't insult the terri with that ugly piece of ....

don't know what Subaru are trying to do. their new aeronautical styling theme has left a lot to be desired, especially that 9X or what ever they are calling that four-wheel drive thing (yes, i know all Subaru's are 4WD)

Mate was looking at upgrading his 04 STi but judging by the pics of the nex WRX he's going to keep it and is looking at either a 2.5l V4 or 3l V6 to put into it

Put a V4 or V6 into what. You better not be talking bout engine swaps into the wrx? : They're boxer engines first off, and no one swaps out WRX Sti engines, unless there upgrading to the US spec 2.5ltr block

You could call it a 180° V engine...

Eh, I guess you've gotta see it in the flesh. Call me mad, but half the workshop sees the same thing.
