I disagree fordomatic. By buying 2 weeks of groceries, you are part of the problem. The solution is... to get the wife to do the shopping every other day. That way, you can avoid helping the wife with the 'big' grocery shop, and you then spend most of the day trolling the net. Smart shopping it's called.

I don't accept your premise the virus is 'lethal'. Lethal to everyone? Not so, the statistics are proving this. I'm in my late 40's and have zero concern about catching it. I take my daily routine of Vit A, C and D, well above the RDI's ( which are BS), eath healthy, exercise and get sun light. Pretty much everything the government is not telling the public to do.

I'd like to think that those at risk do the right thing and stay at home and practice social isolation. It's the pandering to the minority and vulnerable that's caused the economy to crash. Pretty disgraceful by all accounts and some in MSM are beginning to discuss this. The government better have not over reacted and destroyed the economy based on the advice of false modelling and information from the bed wetters in health agencies. The WHO has proven time and time again to be the fraud organisation it is.
Well you've highlighted you have no idea how a virus works and also have no idea of the reasons behind the restrictions.

It's not about you, or the individual. It's about everyone else.

As for how legal it is, you missed where I said 'potential'.

This was predicted by Stephen Koontz in his 1981 novel The Eyes of Darkness.
Bill Gates warned us of it in 2015. I think it is China's way of taking over the world without using their military. How much does China own in Australia ? Too much ! Its time we took Australia back. sure, it will be expensive but at least we will own our own farms and companies etc. 12 months time we will be in a different Australia.

So the same could be said of Farmers who only go to town every couple of weeks to do their shopping?

Don't forget that if someone shops every 14 days they're leaving 13 days for others.

My f'n 75 y/o parents!
Cruise ship trips has been their thing now for 3 years. Even though they do nothing on them or go anywhere interesting. My dad just walks the decks and my mum just eats and reads - so pretty much the same thing they do at home (my dad walks everywhere but yeah, there's no decks at home)

As soon as this thing started they were looking for bargains for next year cruises

They also go to the supermarket every 3rd day and buy enough food to last 2 weeks each trip! E: Apparently my dad walks to bunnings and the bakery every day for somewhere to walk to - he thinks he's invincible. (But really I suppose he wants a break from my mum ordering him about all day every day)

....Watching the news tonight after a wet rainy boooring day at home . No one to talk to other than my U.S. friend on the phone . That was cool . Love my muttleys to bits but geez they don't talk much . Any normal Saturday I'd be fishing or bushwalking or something .

On the news at the reason for this post .. Some medical expert now suggesting that we should consider having some form of herd immunity which kind of flies in the face of what we're supposedly doing now . Something to do with allowing more people to develop a greater immunity to the virus and allowing them to resume a more normal life quicker.. or something ...Buggered if I know.

The second thing was the encouraging initial work done right here in Australia using the core of a head lice treatment that seems to stop the coronavirus from multiplying within 24-48 hours. Already the tablet form of the drug is well known regarding human side effects . Long way off but encouraging none the less . Also the woman being interviewed hoped that clinical human trials can be sped up sooner than normal .

A bit of positive news there .

Mental health is a huge issue here ...As each week passes I hope our bloody free to air TV networks , radio mobs and such start recognizing that and **** off all these 'special reports' , extended news services and such before they send people over the edge ...TOO MUCH , WAY TOO MUCH. A bit more normal TV or extra movies instead please . Thank goodness I have Foxtel which lets me watch some decent doco's and movies instead .

Last couple of weeks we've had to wear masks and gloves on Melbourne work sites (small to mid commercial)
Have a guess which nationality doesnt wear them and still spits on the floor etc as usual?
Made my day getting a couple of them booted out

Driving up glenferrie/toorak/Lygon during the day and the effect of restrictions is very hard to see. However, the biggest clumps of people on sidewalks not obeying laws are funnily enough the same nationality as their plasterer friends.

Id be fine with going into a big lockdown, yeah ill be financially destroyed, so long as its done with then.
But it wont be.

Thats the same as my oldies, they both hate each other but think its a good idea to spend 30+ days sailing about the Pacific Ocean together then send me emails every night whinging about each other and how they're not enjoying the cruise because Dad insists on eating hotdogs and chips for breakfast (its like rare exotic food to a wog) and Mum's salty over the small things like that

Then they keep going on cruises together

I don't mind a cruise, its like a floating aged care facility though, the two I've been on it was like me and 4 other millennials who were also there with their families and 2200+ Cav's.

I randomly met some old lady who claimed her deceased husband was a British scientist who helped worked on the atomic bomb project during WWII - pretty interesting story.

I think the younger crowd tends to go for the shorter duration cruises rather than the 2 week plus ones.

That's not ideal. Courage and good health to those they left behind.

I believe even in this short period of time to date, the chosen official narrative and instructed actions are damaging many peoples' mental health. In a nutshell, we are being collectively told "Be afraid, hide, trust nobody". I don't feel it's a sustainable position - at least not without heavy collateral damage - and expect some significant running revisions.

As a somewhat religious person, my first sighting of a "skeleton staff" funeral was confronting. It was not the lack of mourners; I wouldn't gauge a funeral by the size of its crowd - but a concern that proceedings may be conducted in relative haste and with an eye to convenience.

In reflection after having traveled overseas in the past a few times there has been a big failure somewhere with the system.

Customs would stop you if you had worn shoes on a foreign farm, if you had wood carvings / products, various food stuffs ect ect.

They would confiscate your laptop if it had porn on it for heavens sake, but if there was a chance you were exposed to pandemic virus.....just walk on through.

If it remains when this is over watch the amount being flogged off stolen cards skyrocket..
