Thumbs up Is That An XR6?

Not much left of this XR6 after a clever young guy didn`t know how to drive and lost control.

I think it was an XR6! Not much of it left now. Must have been going quite fast.

Yeah I nearly rode my parents BA XR6 off when it was comming home from the panel beaters. A tired truck driver was all over the road.
A lot of people in my year at school have rode off a previous car.

Remember jeff (ultimate) wrote his BA off last year due to a roo i think it was ?

Sucks for the owner, but as long as everyone in the car is ok, material possesions can be replaced.

One of the worse BA crashed rides i have seen in a while

Hope everyone is OK? But its just shows, you are not supposed to swerve, but its hard, just a human reaction.

Happens to alot of inexperienced drivers on country roads.

Saw a few cars written off in the NT while I was there as well. One lady wrote a mini van off, just to avoid a wallaby.
I hit a big red roo on a bend in the NT. If I had swerved, I would have went straight into the bush at speed! Yeah it hurt the car, but I was ok!
Never swerve for small animals (Kangaroos, Wallabies etc)
A new bumper, headlight, bonnet is cheaper than a new car.

Yeah he must have been moving if it happened during the day, as it was fairly clear country so not a lot to hide the roos, at night at speed would have been a different story, as you don’t always see em even with Spotlights

Should have just hit the anchors and Hit it dead on. If I am going to fast to avoid em It’s on the brakes hard and keep going straight at them and surprisingly they normally get out the way in the nick of time too, most of the time I am in the 4By so the roo would loose ether way LOL

Unfortunately just another case of an inexperienced driver at the wheel of a high powered car. You don't swerve at high speed on bitumen let alone a dirt road. :

Yeah those back tyres do look fairly bald. check the LHR. but then again could be crappy video.

Prior burnout? Out in the middle of nowhere with a video camera... Coming back home (at speed) with tyres shot and lost control?

If you're going to hit an animal - brake and honk. The amount of times I've had a cat, dog, rabbit, duck, etc. stand in front of me looking at the approaching car, only to flee at the honk of my horn...
