Unhappy Stereo mods

Gday guys and girls,

i am going to modify the current factory stereo in my AU2 XR6, but i am quite happy with the 6 cd in dash at the minute. i want to put subs in, and i heard a whisper of a frequency splitter that can be spliced into a speaker line, is this true? and being in WA is there any where i can get it, caz i want subs really bad..
HELP plz

i got told the 6 stack has rca outputs on the back of it anyway. not sure if its true or not

If they dont have rca, go and get yourself a good quality speaker to rca convertor (eg Rockford Fosgate / Instalers Edge).

In WA i think Alberts do RF stuff...

So why post this info if you don't know? Who exactly does it help? No-one.

Get good quality line converters, and mount them as close to the amp(s) as possible (ie make the RCA from the line converter to amp as short as possible). This help to reduce interference etc.
