Why is it, coffee vans at car shows etc, which are usually operated by mum and dad, a family affair, charge the same price as a coffee shop who have to pay electricity, rent, staff wages, super, clean the tables, wash the cups etc?
Some fuel for the generator, license for the van and cash pocket money for their kids.
I'm sure there are a few more costs, but nothing like a franchise shop.

$30k for a fully equiped coffee van.power etc.Some big events charge $100s up to $1000s site fees

I don’t believe these are “timed” or staged like airbags, they just go bang and lock the reel - so what is the reason?

Nearly every other utility or subscription service has a simple online “Pay your bill here” webpage for situations where direct debit isn’t used and you want to instantly effect payment. Not the Big T. You either need an online identity (more data for them to leak

) or use B-~~delay~~Pay or go to a Post Orifice etc and wear a $2.50 surcharge atop the card payment tariff.

Why is it the weed and feed seems to have given some new shoots but not much effect on weeds. For real the base is dead but still growing and flowering

I also dug up the pavers in the lawn down to the clothesline I never use and filled in but seems about a bag short

"The active constituent in Weed n Feed is Dicamba. The rate of Dicamba present in Weed n Feed bottles is very low and isn’t very effective on most broadleaf weeds (hence the very cheap price of Weed n Feed) and you will usually need 2 or 3 applications to get a result.

Dicamba cannot be used on Soft-Leaf buffalo lawns, as it will cause the lawn to die back and turn yellow. This greatly limits the products use in the domestic market as a lot of home lawns in Australia are soft leaf buffalo."

Weed n Feed adds very little nutrient value to the grass. The fertiliser component mainly contains Nitrogen and Iron, which will give the plant a short boost of green colour, but usually contains zero Phosphorus and Potassium, so it does virtually nothing for the root strength and development of the plant. Which means it is hardly a fertiliser at all."

The key thing with these types of products is the short-lived effect, which in turn means you buy more of it. Also, because these products are sold through Bunning's, they water it down so much, catering to the lowest level of intelligence to prevent a lawsuit if someone kills their cat or sets fire to the lawn.
