“The whole car was wrapped in bubble tape as it went down the line,” Capicchiano says. “It was the most protected car we’d ever made. There were actually two shells. We did this car, then another shell went through the paint shop just in case there was any damage on the line."

I built the supercharger/manifold assembly for that car. Still remember the day the owner came down and helped hand build the engine for it.

I was there at tickford that day when 500 turned up.. remember it well. Owner is a top bloke too.

What a great read, and a great experience for the owner... Love the fact that its Gold, like the first Falcont GT and that its driven, not hidden....
