Personally I dont like the look of them on the XRs. They are much more suited to rice cars.

It looks like the grille mesh they sell in Supercheap for about $30. You could probably make your own up for cheaper.

Here's a pic of my mates old car, it did look pretty good but not sure if I'd put it on mine. Only suits certain colours.

Sad thing about this photo is both these cars have been w/o

looks like what you would use on a race car if u couldnt get a nice one, i used mild steel in the same mesh on my xc speedway car in th late 90,s
think its horrible on an xr8, and wouldnt put it on mine, but that just my opinion, u like use it its your car!

FTG sell lower grilles that match the std upper grille on the xr. I put one on to protect my trans cooler and it looks spot on.

I just purchased a Stainless lower grill from pusti05 (aka Melbourne Best buys) on ebay and it is so far from fitting its a joke. Checked the negative feedback after it wouldnt fit only to find another guy had the same thing. Seller not helpfull, has no pictures and provides basically useless instructions. I now have lots of extra holes in my front bumper so thats great, and $110 down the drain. the mild steel one looks the same so beware.
