Default The new Falcon

I am a rep, on the road in Adelaide 5-6 hours a day and ever since its launch I have not seen one new Falcon on the road. Has anyone else? And, where is the advertising because it isn't in newspapers or on TV. Frankly I don't know why Ford bothered to make it.

As discussed there with production capacity cut drastically Ford don't need to advertise yet as they can't keep up with existing orders.

Regardless - always advertise the product. It creates interest, increases order numbers and adds to the market perception of demand outstripping production.

Finally saw 2 XR8's in sydney. One going across the bridge in Smoke and another in the Victory Gold colour along George street. They are the only two I've seen in Sydney not at the dealer.

Only seen a 1 tonne ute in Sydney in the 3 months I was back in the country. Nothing in Newcastle and nothing on a trip from the Southern Highlands of NSW to Dalby QLD via Brisbane and back! That's a fair slice of the country to not see a single one!

Ive spotted 3 in Bathurst 1 XR8. 1 XR6 and a "normal one" i didn't spot the badge. So they are out there. And they were all in 1 day at 3 different locations.

They are therefore pretty rare then. Maybe they have stopped making anything but the limited edition XR8???

In Geelong I've seen plenty, lots parked in driveways, parked on side roads, outside shops and driving around. Probably seen 20-30 in the last month already, more and more keep popping up around here...

I wonder if there are any in SA. Haven't seen one yet, might pay extra attention from now on.

Your not a rep for Spec Savers are you?

It's pretty amusing though, considering the XR8 next year will be reborn with the same spec engine as the FG GT, could you imagine being a HSV owner forking out all that money on a brand new GTS, then pulling up to the lights next to a FH XR8 and then sitting side by side all the way to 100 and beyond
Even more embarrasing would be the lower spec variants of the VF in HSV's stable getting whopped by a factory XR8.

A Ford Family in my street picked up a white XR8 last week, (had an FG xr8) also have a Ranger.

Dropped down and had a chat with them, they're pretty chuffed with it.

Seen the same blue XR8 on Pt Wakefield Rd a couple of times, thats about it really outside of a dealer. On another note did see a white GT-F this morning parked alongside Pt Wakefield THAT stood out like dogs balls.

As discussed there with production capacity cut drastically Ford don't need to advertise yet as they can't keep up with existing orders.

There are three sitting in Hobart since launch day looking for a home. If anyone is looking for one. Two XR6 sedans and one XR6 Turbo ute.

Haven't seen any on the road, beyond the dealer demo.
