Thumbs Up to Stillwells

Just got back from stillwell ford and I must say how great they've
been!!they are fixing the noise in my motor apparently the xr8s get from those pretensioners
and while I dropped it off I told them to check the coolant , Well
I go to pick it up and guess what! they replaced
the radiator no questions asked they said it had a slight leak and when they gave it a presure test it gave way all done under waranty..

When I bought my EL from Stillwell I was a fussy bastard and took it back for a couple of warrenty issues. All repaired with no fuss and a tank of fuel included. Very good dealership.

I think I can beat that. My dad bought the XE (which is now mine and my brother's) brand new from Stillwell Ford back in 1985. It was the Stillwell dealership which turned in to the Jarvis dealership at Hillcrest. I'm pretty sure the Stillwell sticker is on the back window.
As for the dealership (at Medindie now), I haven't heard anything bad about it. Had problems myself with Jarvis.

Sarg, i can beat that, i bought a XA fairmont, 351,manual, GS pack , brand new in 73. Price was under $5000. GT was the same price but insurance killed it.Stillwells in Kew[ melb ]

Yep, my XE came via Stillwells too.
Got to love em, half of all the cars in SA have their sticker now.

and its great to see the giant Blue Oval just before hitting town.
and to see their display of the newest Fords on the corner in the park.

They are great as long as you have a falcon, bought my EL from there and had no issues with anything getting fied under warranty from them.

Tried there with my focus to get a few things fixed namely the air vents, they were not so good for that...

I actually disagree with that.. they were terrible with my parent's Falcon when they bought it... Lies from Sales as to when it was ordered and ETA, options which were requested and paid for were left off the order plus many other issues with the car (looked like Pre Delivery was mostly skipped). Service wasn't much better getting it fixed either.

Maughan Thiem in the other hand have been fantastic.

See now i disagree with that. When the missus bought her Fiesta from there, the sales guy didnt take her order properly and didnt reserve the car with the colour she specifically asked for.. and just screwed her around.

Jarvis where i bought my XR from.. they are great !

But this is a good thread about Stillwells lets keep it to that
