Hey Wade,

Some people are flat out telling people how good their ET's are. I have seen examples of people that can 60 a car well and run a good number, but inbetween there are a lot of high 13/14 and 15 sec passes.

I like to measure a sessions performance on the WORST et. Drag racing, you race for a timeslip, but also remember that one day you may have to do battle with a car next to you. Consistency is hard, and it looks like you have that nutted.

I have some timeslips of my own with high humidity, and they are about a tenth and a half off my PB. I would think that in Melbourne, your runs last night would have all been in the 20's and 30's, with a few teens thrown in.

My customers tell me that they aim for the top numbers, which is what we strive for. But it is nice to know, that your WORST run is still respectable.

Well done mate.

Even though I only just beat my PB, being consistant made me very satisfied with the night was happy allround. Its was also good to have a few 260's around me craig(phantom), Rich(Hot460) not those friggin LS1's pesky little vermins lol also Chris (MYV8), there was also a couple of other 260's running, one was hoping for 12's but only managed 14.9 lol also a girl in a sedan did a 14.2 stock. Alot of cars but somehow still managed 6 passes (well last run did a bit of a stort cut ). Chris cheers mate for your advice also that friggin tune, second gear chirp well theres a bit of attitude there love ya work.

Great consistant runs Wade. Thanks Craig, good to get out the track and race a standard 260 with just a cai and zorst. Your machine is the fastest stocker from what I see 13.741@ 98.01! If only you nailed that 3rd to 4th change. P,s you still need some pratice on the tree though! lol. :thebirds:
13.714
2.095 60ft
102.49 mph

Great fun in the old work horse that clocked 150,000 klms on it in 18mths.

Thanks Chris(myv8) for your help.

Yeh Rich, I couldn't shake you all night. It was great to have all of you guys out there at one time. Yourself, Wade, Chris and those other potential forum BA steerers, what a bunch of legends. We've gotta get the young lady that was racing the XR8 to participate on this forum, that would spice things up. Maybe we all should atleast get up there once a month together, it could gather momentum.

I'm all for it.I need much more practice before I unleash the other beast, (dont want too look hopeless in it.) I think before next time I need to invest in a tune from a xtreme, the haltec's days are numbered. Judging on my 60ft and Wades there's no more in the old girl and the bug too go faster in a 260 has taken hold! :evil3:
