UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

Calder Park Raceway has been placed under new Management and has no affiliation with Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd.

We understand that many of you have may have entered into contracts with Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd to use the track after 15 December 2012 and have paid Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd for that use.

The position is as follows:

1. Calder Park Raceway Pty Ltd is the owner of the land on which the track is located. From 16 December 2012 it recovered use and occupation of the land as a result of the settlement of Supreme Court proceedings brought against Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd and Robert Frederick Jane.

2. Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd is owned and operated solely by Robert Frederick Jane. It is not and has never been an agent of or authorised to represent Calder Park Raceway Pty Ltd.

3. By 30 October 2012, Robert Frederick Jane and Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd knew that they no longer had the right to remain on the land after 4.00pm on 15 December 2012.

4. Calder Park Raceway Pty Ltd is not required to honour any of the obligations of Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd or Robert Frederick Jane including to permit the use of the track.

In these circumstances if you have paid money to Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd or Robert Frederick Jane in relation to the use of the track after 15 December 2012 we suggest that you contact Robert Frederick Jane or Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd. Their details are as follows:

You may also wish to take advice from a lawyer as to your rights in relation to Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd and Robert Frederick Jane.

On behalf of Calder Park Raceway Pty Ltd we regret any inconvenience that may have been caused. Our commitment is to endeavour to rebuild the venue and give Melbourne a sustainable motor sport venue.

Hopefully this means they will return Calder to its former glory. Whoever has been running it for the last 10 years has totally f'd it.

I think that is a bit premature, it is well known that he has shut the place down for a while until they sort things out, the things from FB you are copying onto here are NOT from Calder Park themselves or from Rodney Jane, the last line of the media in the first post release says it all to me, maybe you should go back and read it and stop being a drama ******

Correct and what was written on the face book page would depend who had control of what was being written at the time, Calder Park Promotions Pty Ltd or Calder Park Raceway Pty Ltd.

It's not about being a drama queen, but the place needs some serious investment and we know that the Taylors Lakes area has grown substantially in the last decade or so with housing. Prime real estate along that corridor.

You do the maths...

Calder Park Motorsport Heritage FB page is under the control of the Friends of Bob Jane, so you know straight away where their loyalties lie.

Bob has said himself in a room where I was standing that the land can't be built on as it too close to the airport and the planes do U turns over it, for those that have flown you might have seen this, I have.

Give Rod a chance, afterall HE said in HIS media release that they are looking forward to it continuing - you do the maths
