Default Repair broken plastic for car tail light

Dear Experts

There are so many glue out there and I am confused to which on to choose to repair this tail light for Nissan Sentra

Can you please share your experience and any trick I need to be aware when I do repair

Any of the two part epoxy glues should be fine.

I've found plastic welding with an old soldering iron better than glue, you can get the right filler sticks the the particular type of plastic from Bunnings.
I found all the info I needed right here in the BA manual in tech resources along with a bit of google & youtube.

The type of plastic you have should be cast into the part somewhere, you need to know it so you buy the right welding sticks. After that it's like icing a cake.

ive even seen old time pro's use pieces of another (the same type) plastic lenses so it is the same material and matches better when repairing older units depends on how fussy you are I suppose

yes still (as money n time permit) doing the

I thought a plastic soldering iron is different from a soldering iron that we use it for soldering electronic circuit board.
