You can compare the BRZ to the Focus ST on price. An optioned Subaru will be line ball with the Focus, which will be almost 2 secs quicker to 100.

I suggest you go to EVOs website, where there's a video of the BRZ up against the Megane: the comments at the end of the test by the driver are very telling...
