To suit 3/8” hose, and the threaded end is M16x1,5 to fit Falcon radiators.

Any self serve wrecker near you where you can go and lob the end off one?

Unfortunately no self serve yards here anymore, and I’d need to form a sealing bead on the tip - can’t weld to save myself - so that would be TIG work to a third party.

If I didn’t have a retaining bead on the hard line, it would be a cause of worry - whether the risk was real or imaginary.

It’s only necessary to get such a fitting because I refuse to bypass the radiator tank cooling loop, this ideology is prone to causing arguments on AFF.

Neither Speedflow nor Aeroflot have the correct fittings, it’s a bit frustrating as I’m trying to coordinate a single time to install and commission.

The AU looks to have a different, slightly smaller, threaded end on its hard lines - an imperial inverted flare - is this correct?

What about a flare tool for the hard line?

The ones I’ve bypassed, I didn’t bother to flare the hard line and had no dramas.
ZF6 with an FG V8 and several AU/BA.

The tube beading and bubble flaring tools I’ve seen and used, wouldn’t hold a candle to factory steel hardlines. Even adding extra bends takes a lot of care/patience to avoid collapse and kinking.

I'd still try your speed flow distributor I know mine at least, Lost Cause Racing (yes; they also have a sense f humour) , also stock fitting from many other brands including Brown and Miller Racing solutions per https://bmrs.net/flipbook/?page=10 and have always been able to find what I have needed.

Go to Rocket industries or similar and get the correct threaded fitting with a compression sleeve on it. Flare not needed then. But common sense is bypass the radiator to stop milkshake risk.
