Default Have you ever noticed a common theme when it comes to fast cars and their wheels?

I was thinking the other day that, all exciting / quick / fun factory stock cars have a similar theme. That being their factory wheels. Wheels that adorn the car that scream, don't pick on me cause your gunna lose, compared to the bog stock version of the same car.
They all have a very similar shape / layout / spoke arrangement that just WORKS visually, for me any way.

Feel free to add any others that have similar spoke arrangements that you deem worthy.

Here's some that spring to mind, starting with mine naturally

TRD Aurion:

BMW:

Cadillac

Fairlane G220

Ford FPV Typhoon

Honda:

Lotus Exige:

Mazda MX-5 (for handling more so than Brutus beef cake quickness:

Mercedes:

Mitsi EVO:

R32 Golf:

That all folks

One of the T3 TS50 or TE50 had wheels like that.

Thanks mate, totally forgot about that. But that just proves my point, cars that excite have wheels like these.
Thanks, good call.

Love that Makinen Evo.....

How about the Globe Volante alloys factory fitted to Fords (Falcon, Cortina, Escort) of the late 70's and early 80's

Visuals aren't the primary factor, it's lowest possible unsprung mass at a given price point.

Do these count?

Never liked them, in black or the nickel silver. The new version I hate as well, just too busy.........................
