Yeah but by Audi calling thier car the R8 they just raised the value of the clubbie. Then again a nice legal battle between the two would make for a good laugh.

I started a post back in February stating that I thought the Audi R8 could well be the "most beautiful and awesome car in on the planet today!!"

http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...highlight=Audi

6 months on and I haven't changed my mind one bit......absolutely magnificent car, I would buy one in a heartbeat if I had the cash.

Beautiful car, a far cry from the A4T that I've got.

The guys at MTM have worked out how to supercharge the 4.2L V8 - 535HP!!!

Just announced a power upgrade to match the Lambo for series 2, before the 25 series 1 cars allocated to Australia and all pre sod have even made it here. Now that has to be painful.

Love Audis, have one, however they dont mind cannibalising resale values.

Damn sexy machine though!

The rear end, near the fuel cap is similar to the Bugatti Veyron (unsurprising really considering they are made by the same mob)...

Do Audi Make anything else that looks like This? There is a Guy around the corner from me that drives a Bentley Continental GT Coupe - But the other day i thought it was him again but it was an Audi - Got me thinking its possibly an R8

They make the TT Roadster which is a little like the R8

No R8's have been delviered to Aus yet so I'm guessing it was a TT

I'm pretty sure there's one sitting in the window at Scott's Honda at Artarmon in Sydney - although it's probably "Mr Scott's"

I could be in the minority, but I think the weakest angle is the front.. from every other side it looks horn. But by weakest, it doesn't come close to the rest of the car but still looks ok.
