So about an hour ago I go out to get some food for the family and on my way back I'm aware of a car staying close to the back of mine. He puts his indicator on and moves into the right turn lane at the red lights. Lights change and I can see said vehicle swerve back in behind me for some reason.
So still in automode I turn right at the next set of lights, but I can see the vehicle behind flashing his spots. I meander up the hill and he's still flashing his lights, so I decide I might pull over, expecting whoever it is to tell me I have a cat on the turret or something, but no he ratchets back a gear and roars up the remainder of the hill. I sat there thinking to myself 'I wonder why I keep reading on FF how Holden drivers are hoons, when I've just encountered a late model, body kitted Ford Ute with a turkey behind the wheel'. My take on the incident is he saw the four pipes out the back and on drawing up level saw the chrome V8 badge and thought to himself " I can beat this 'tard in his holden POS". His poor acceleration at WOT suggested otherwise. |

Youll get the same response the Ford drivers blaming Holden drivers get, "thats nice dear".
Stereotypes. |

You can't expect all hoons to drive VP commodores with P plates.
A year or two back, I was sitting at a set of lights next to a BF XR6, lady in here late 60's-70's in the passanger seat, and the guy driving would of been the same age. Lights turn green, I take off at about half throttle as normal, next thing the xr6 goes flying past with the old lady passanger pointing and laughing at me, still cracks me up. it's not just you mate, i've had an orange XR6 turbo ute with black rims on browns plains road trying to race me while i was driving the toyota vienta station wagon. maybe he felt intimidated by the 17in rims.
i'm sure he thought himself a hero after beating a station wagon toyota. : |

stereotypes suck.
people from school come up to me n say 'oh u have an AU, nice taxi!!' i say back, mate u paid 12,000 for a vt commo with 18's that has done 270,000k's that my AU could eat. I never new taxi's were sold off after 90,000k's. They buy fords because they are reliable. Buy a holden and something major will go wrong with it after 300,000k's. 'My VT V6 could eat yours, mine has an exhaust and its lowered!, fords suck!' and i said 'ooo watch out, exhaust, no extractors? since when does the holden badge and your P plates make a car go faster?' 'holdens are way quicker' 'whatever..' |

This is not going to get any better than a Ford versus Holden driver arguement, and hence it will end here.
