I have read here that the Falcon is slated to get the I-4 EcoBoost engine but I have not read where it (engine) was to be built. If no one has said it yet, I just read in the Ford "@Ford" magazine that Ford Australia's $230M investment is to build the first global application of the advanced 2.0-liter four cylinder EcoBoost engine. It also says "The plant will manufacture the engines to improve the fuel efficiency and environmental impact of its Australian-made models."
If it has already been noted that the I-4 EcoBoost engine will be built in Oz then please go ahead and delete this thread. Steve

The motor won't be built in Australia unfortunately. What will be done in Australia though is improving the LPG version of our I6 motor
