over in the darkside this tweet came up
was asked wether rumours were true if Marcos was considering havin a go at Bathurst 12 hour was his reply: GMcSweeny@HoldenMotorsport - Yes we can confirm its a rumour that Marcos Ambrose is considering returning to Australia to run in the Bathurst 12 Hour. Its only a rumour , but if it were true...the obvious question is, why Holden?

His current team may be going to GM for next season but this is the first I have read of him having any interest in the 12H and unless they are planning on another 427 Monaro fiasco then there is nothing in the top class from GM or Ford if you want to win outright.
Ambrose made comment in V8X that he would like to do Bathurst once he returns from the states in semi retired mode. |

Feb is right in the build up to the Daytona 500 I can't see him moving his focus to the 12 hour at that time of the year, also the real Bathurst crown is the 1000 and while I'm sure I few of the blokes over here love the extra laps around there that the 12H can provide Ambrose has moved on to bigger things for now.
