Default Toorak Tyre attacks

https://7news.com.au/news/vic/reside...ak--c-11770983

"A number of cars in Melbourne’s southeast have had their tyres deflated by an environmental activist group.

Up to 20 four-wheel drives and SUVs near Tintern Ave, Toorak were targeted on Thursday night and Friday morning."

Makes you wonder how ape they would go if they knew about this:

I'd love the opportunity to offer some meaningful counselling to an activist I caught letting my tyres down...

If the group have admitted responsibility, surely they can be charged?

It's vandalism and a crime so not sure why they aren't already in custody.

They should make examples out of them. If it goes unchecked it will only escalate.

Police need to grow some.

to charge 'someone' .. they would need to workout who..

and yes it will 'escalate' no end.

Surely an organisation that conducts illegal activities can be held to account?

A company car that gets caught speeding subjects that company to a punishment unless they give up the individual. Surely a similar course of action exists?

Reading how the various states treat this interference is interesting, I think the reason
they go for deflating tyres is to avoid malicious damage, this could be fixed if every state
got together and made it a fine of say, $500 per tyre deflated, something that stings a bit
but also put a good behaviour bond in there of say 6 months and $2,000.

Wonder if SUVs are the target or the drive type? Will they target EV SUVs next? V8'S?

I am waiting for the day when the majority take the world back.

Minority groups are running riot and the time is coming when they will all be put back in their place.

The climate on earth has been changing since day 1 in both directions.

How do these peanuts think the last ice age ended. That is some serious climate change.

It certainly wasn't because of man or large SUV's.

Not to digress but the issue is that we have a small window to exist within and if the world is naturally changing, it would be silly of us to add to the change and speed our extinction up.

The planet will be fine. We won't be.

Didnt the iceage end because the wooly mammoth was driving a supercharged big block Monaro to work everyday and the cavemans wife run the aircon all the time in the cave?

Every time they deflate a street of tyres just use a petrol / diesel powered generator to power an air compressor to pump them back up again.

I’m probably a bit bemused by the outrage, as I have sufficient air line to run out to the street. But having had multiple cars affected by petty acts over the years, from loosening of wheel bolts to deliberate creasing of panels and setting fire to headlining, flat tyres aren’t really something that overly bothers me.

Slashed tyres, that would - it represents an economic loss, like the malicious damage events cited above or the mongrels who steal plants from my front garden.

Most people couldn't change a tyre and it's going to be an RACV/NRMA call out to rectify.

Though it's Toorak, very affluent area of Melbourne they couldn't give a **** about what it costs to fix, it's a mild inconvenience at best, just take the Lamborghini Huracan to the office today.

All this does is turn people away from environmentalists.

I love this bit under how to deflate a tire.

"Drop a small bean (we like green lentils, but you can experiment with couscous, bits of gravel, etc)"

Lentils and couscous tells you all you need to know about the type of people doing this
