The two port ones with opposing “ears” for attachment. Do they stick, are they cleanable after removing, can the metal gaskets be reused either dry or with a smear of sealant?
Got a Pug with one, but it’s employed differently. Valve looks identical except the connector alignment is different. I believe what this one uses it for, is to meter clean air from an electric “smog pump” into the exhaust ports. I’m getting a “secondary air pump fault” on diagnosis but it’s a dumb pump with an unmonitored power supply relay - so the fault almost certainly lies with the EGR valve. Hence wondering if it’s worth trying to clean the valve, or safe to reuse the gasket. I can’t find a part number for the Holden gasket by itself. |
