whats the right way to check the tranny oil level in a C6,
do i check in N at idol or off in park or D at idol? someone clear this up for me please

Above is the correct way for the C series box's. It changes for various.
I just did a quick oil change in my C4 (today). It was pretty easy. The C4 exploded into a million bits and locked the rear wheels. Easiest oil change I've done on the box ;) Brenden

This is what I used to do for my C4, so I imagine C6 would be the same.
Preferably warm, run box through gears (Forward & reverse), then back to Park and check while idling. There should be similar instructions on the transmission dipstick, above the oil level mark. Ed |
