Angry What do you think of these people??

Mongrels who damage your car in car parks, and just %$#k off. My rear bar has a nice scratch and crease in it as of today. I admit you wouldn't know unless I showed you, but it's not the point.

Makes one slightly irate....

Yeah that really sh**s me too.

Some people just have no bloody respect. The least they could do is apologise, instead of p***ing off.

They shouldnt even do it in the first place, if they respected their own cars as much as the persons they hit it shouldnt even happen.

people do it because they are jealous sometimes

If only the shopping centres would know the amount of cash they lose from people not wanting to go to them due to car-park issues.

What annoys me ... Is i'd rather park 100metres away from everyone else, so people dont park next to me. And, always ... like clockwork, Ill get back to my car and find two cars parked either side of mine in the middle of no-where.

Im contemplating hurting my back to get a disabled permit ...

I was hit at the far end of the park, in no mans land. And judging from the height, I'd say a 4x4, probably a Toorak tractor that never sees dirt.

Maybe a soccer mum on a mission?

These damn soccer mums in 4WD's also annoy me ... I'm gonna make it my personal mission to nail one and slip it in her butt just to teach her not to hit peoples car.

Excessive? I think not ...

I always do that as much as possible as well, and yep there's always cars parked either side of me when i come back to the car.

One of my mates just picked up a nice VX and he works at myer so he has to park in the shopping centre car park. Less than 2 weeks he's had the car and somebody's already hit the side, left white paint all over the door and rear guard and scratched one of his brand new rims. bastards! :

It's the obvious choice, but why should anyone have to? To be honest, sometimes I wonder why I have a decent ride. But I'm answered each time I drive it.

i know. people are a-holes, nobody should have to pay the extra insurance and rego for a seccond car just so they can keep there "good" car in perfect condition, .....but i'd rather prevent my ride from being denged up in that situation.......

but you'd like to catch the pricks "vandalising" your car though

Exactly why we keep our little corolla csx shopping trolley. Park it anywhere at any time, wash it once a year, drive it through gravel and road works at warp speed, sit on the bonnet/boot, smack it into the wall at Jam Factory carpark (the mrs hates it so i do it on purpose hehehe). I'll always have a POS car to take to the city and the shops..

I know quite a few blokes that work on the side of the road and have their lives put at risk every day by bellends that don't slow down through road works.

Drive quick over gravel if you want, but if you speed through road works then you deserve a shovel through the windscreen.

I agree 100% - Only an idiot would go through road works at mach 1 while people are working. Coming home a 3am is a different story..

As much as it gives me the s**ts at times i still love the thing. If there ever was a POS Falcon i would've thought it would be yours - your courteous Ford dealer spent the whole day rectifying the 6 pages of faults at the 40,000km service :

I used to park my old XD in the carpark at work, and I came out one day to find the trolley guys sitting on their tractor, with their feet up on my bonnet!! out:
It may have been an old car, but I put a lot of work into it, and I looked after it. They copped it in English and Arabic for that. (primary school came in handy for something)
After that they'd just park the tractor across the spot I parked in while they went to lunch. Several times I was ready to leave, and had to sit there for an hour waiting for them to come back.

I also had a trolley pushed down the side of it. It only had cruddy Acrylic paint, and went right through to the undercoat. I wasn't happy.

Yes bloody idiots in the city with 4wd. I dont mind them if they have a reason for having them. But god i live in a fairly remote part of australia and there more land cruisers running around here then opera has had feeds. But in my whole life i seen two landcruiser (utes) without a bullbar, both of which in brisbane. Ifs bull. Why have a 4wd if you dont need it. God i seen a 4wd on the gold coast thats got spray on mud all over it and unmarked tyres and rims. To me people winge about 4wd and dont want them in the city. I agree with that on the term that you should be able to have them if you have a reason for having it, i.e builders, moving heavy loads, etc. But everyday use should be banned. There is other options in which you can take extra people in smaller cars that arent tanks. Also why own a huge 4wd it only chews a hell of alot of fuel. For example landcruiser (turbo) uses about a tank (90l) in 650km on the highway. Alot less in the city. Anyway sorry for the rant

Jeff

Oh I no how you feel, some ***** in a 4wd left a nice 2inch long crack in my front bar with their towbar (asuming thats what did it judging by the crack, its too high for a normal car and its the only bit on the bumper that was touched), pushed one side of the plastic behind the other and is all munted.... *cries*....

I parked at a serviced apartment yesterday in my AU ute and the parks were TIGHT. Last night two families of Japanese tourists showed up in a new Tarago (hire car) and parked next to me .. about 6" between me and them. When I got up this morning the Tarago was gone, someone had stuck chewing gum on the windscreen and had damaged the bumper endcap trying to either get in or out next to me ... care to guess who might have done it? A-holes ...

I had someone run into the back of my ute in a carpark, and did a runner. I got it fixed by a panel beater, then took my car to the mechanics i was using at the time, pick up the car, go home, get out and walk around the back of the car to see the exact same damage as was done at the carpark a week earlier. I thought I had gone out of my mind.

Then the anger kicked in and I drove back to the mechanics. They fixed it, in a slow and crappy manner. Ill never go back to that place. Unless its to torch the joint.

I never park my good cars in shopping center carparks, I've got a dunger for that. But have had my cars damaged by two seperate Ford dealers while servicing. Both denied responsibility. Can't win...

Just got my sedan back from the panel beaters after the truck rear-ended me. Went over the car and found huge chunks of paint out of the bottom of the drivers side rear quarter panel, plus something like white concrete paint on the side of same side mudflap. Pointed it out and they said to me that it was already like that. Like hell it was. They've backed the car over their own gutter. But what can you do?

Not only that, but there were already chips in the new paintwork. They advised me to ..... wait for it ...... utilise the complimentary touch up paint found in the glove box.

And what can you do?

By Bf XR8 was 1 week old when some dog turd decided that it would look better with a key stripe down the side. $1200 later the car look good again. I have often thought of parking somewhere and watching from a distance, then if some dog turd scrapes the car, I bring out my base ball bat. But we all know that I will go to jail and the dog turd gets compensation. Gotta love the law. Another time a mate had his brand new SS commodre jumped on by a drunk indigine, literally jumped on. Roof, boot, bonnet......

I have a one thats a bit different. In the last week my parents have made me drive car to the station instead of taking mine i took the old zl fairlane. Anyway I parked it away from people to avoid dints even though it doesnt matter only to come back friday night find the back 1/4 window smashed and broken into. You park away to avoid dings only to allow a better position for theives. Nothing in the car luckly im thinking of empting it all out taking off the center console lid and leaving the glove box open like a shop to show them there aint nothing to steal. If your gonna break into the old fairlane at least take it

I havent had any car park dings on the au maybe those big ugly plastic things on the doors work? Either way I find you park to the most likely people to damage your car next to a trolly bay right out the front of the shops and you dont get dinged, you park ages away in the middle of nowhere and you get hit!

Im thinking of a new alarm system, cover the car for fire/theft, hook up a bomb not an alarm and then when they brake in it blows them sky high. I get my insurance pay out for fire and we have on less car theif.

I tend to park as arrogantly as i can accross 2 carparks close to gutters and so forth so that you can only get into a carpark on one side of me and even then you have to be really really bad at driving to hit me. My work hates me cos i double park and the guys i know that ride bikes just park around me, we take up 2 or 3 carparks for 1 car and 2 bikes

some ppl whom bump n run deliberately run to avoid any wrong doing etc some are innocent mistakes that go unnoticed by the driver(it does happen)
but yes it gets quite bad when ppl do wrong and just take off without a explanation etc.
