Default World's Ugliest Cars

I thought it'd be fun to post images of the most ugliest car from around the world, so I will start with the following in no particular order:

Robin Reliant

Vanden Plas 1500

Avanti Studebaker

Pontiac Aztek

Ford Scorpio

Holden Commodore

Cadillac Seville

Dodge Dart

Aston martin Lagonda

Gosh, seems my post was a bit of a flop then! I think the VZ is ugly with the whole pronounced twin bumper thing at the front. I know that sales stats say otherwise.

To me, the Ford Scorpio looks like a demented, squashed version of the AU Fairlane. The front looks even worse.

There must be hundreds more ugly cars indeed.

That particular Taurus is awful. I can't help but stare when I see one go by, like a big green wart on the road. It was actually designed by an Australian.

I think that many ungainly cars are lovable, as I quite like the Studebaker I listed. The same could be said about the AU Fairlane. if I saw one of those weird-tailed Sevilles in reality, I'd probably go over and admire it as a thing of wonder.

Yellow VW beetles and ANYTHING Mitsi..

Sorry Mitsi, I know you are trying to sell some cars to stay alive but come on, design your own friggen car, instead you get a yank-tank in? :

the new Camry - when lookin for a 4wd recently, the dealer was braggin on about driving a Sportivo (wtf)..
Tojo have managed to uglify all of their models over the past 10 years!, except maybe the land crab but only coz they haven't CHANGED it!

Any Suzuki with 4 wheels..., Suzuki make bikes!!

Probably something like "lets make sure the doors dont actually fall off and the whole car leak like the EA when we released that!" but then again, maybe it was a case of being a few to many years ahead in the styling at the time of release (havent you seen the new Mercs? AU ripoffs in rear end design)

Could never call a BA/BF ugly though. Boring, uninspired, "mainstream safebet", and even dull yes.. but not ugly.

Can't say I've ever seen that happen to the EA. They weren't as bad as people think.

Each to their own. The DS was one of the most controversial cars of all time. Not every car can win "most beautiful car" and "ugliest car" in the same year! Personally I hate them. The back of them looks too droopy. On the otherhand, one of my housemates absolutely loves them.

they've deffinately taken styling cues from the AU rear end, but the fact is the AU rear end isnt the only problem with the AU styling.
we all agree that some of the AU's are very aggresive looking and quite pleasing to look at, but a plain AU1 Forte is a down right ugly car.
stick ons hide it, the merc you speak of just has lots of stick ons to enhance the rear end.

I purposely didn't post an AU as I imagine I'd get spoken to a lot more! But I am quite surprised by peoples' reactions. I must have a really bizarre taste in car design.

But just to clarify, the pictures I have selected are just the particular year/series illustrated. I like other series Commodores and Dodge Darts, just not the years/models posted here.

Russian? You missed quite a few clues in that photo Pedro. That is Prague Castle, the Czech flag, a CS (Czechoslovakia) country plate and the characteristic VW beetle shape - the beetle design having been pinched from the Czech carmaker Tatra by the Germans. No beauty but Tatra were very innovative. But unfortunately this one came from the same Communist era as the Trabant. I think Communist era designs should be excluded from this quiz on the grounds of handicap!
