Thank you for your input, as I am deciding calipers to use. I've spoken to a Zephyr 'Guru' that I know and he's suggested using late model Falcon (AU-FG) discs and commodore calipers, which I agree using the Falcon discs but not so much with using the commodore calipers, do you think that I could use TE-TF Cortina calipers instead? I will be using a late model XR8 ute as a doner car, as the LSD, tailshaft and possibly the auto will be used on the Zephyr and sell the motor down the track, as I plan to fit a 347 Windsor. Cheers, Tez |

Love these old Zephyrs. I know of a nice Mk1 convertible sitting in the lean to of a rural property, been there for 20 years that I know of. Seems its the wifes trophy from a messy divorce, shame.

HI everyone,
I'm after advice fitting a FG 6 turbo motor to a Mk 2 Zephyr sedan. Has anyone fitted one or knows anyone that has, as I have changed my mind on fitting a 347 Windsor? Regards, Tez |

Hi. You would be better off using a BA/BF motor with the deep part of the sump at the front of the engine. The only thing to get in your way might be the sway bar. Cheers MD
