Personally I would like to see ford move away from conventional ac compressors and start using Denso's new electric compressor. Theyre originally designed for hybrid cars but could easily be used in normal applications. If this were to be implemented, possibly along with earlier comments on electric waterpumps and powersteering pumps, it would have to go a long way towards improved fuel economy.
