Default Predictions about the future value of the hero models...

It got me thinking. Is the idea that a GT (or any other limited build car) will become valuable sometime in the future based on precedent and that this precedent will continue? With Australia racing head first towards becoming the worlds biggest warehouse and coffee shop (with the inevitable mass unemployment it will create), is the precedent able to continue? Discuss.
