Default How much do you think your vehicle cost to run- 70k, 3.5 years

Well hi.
As I'm about to sell my much loved ute, (maybe) I thought I'd collate all the receipts that have been accumulating in the "ute" file since i bought it.
I guessed that the total cost of gas, and maintenance would be about the same as the original purchase price of the vehicle, ($17k)
If you want to know just how much the cost of a vehicle is, slowly accumulating, have a look at the two attached spreadsheet's, you may be very surprised.
also note, i have not included petrol costs (minimal because of LPG). I would guess these to be about $1000
Although your circumstances may be different, I did include speeding fines and a few other odds and ends.
Bear in mind it's a 2004 tonner ute. and has been used for what it was designed, never abused, always fixed before it broke!
enjoy!
