Maybe fleets but not retail. Too many people have been burnt by poor customer service. Three close friends purchased new cars in the last three months, not one visited a Ford (or Holden) dealership and all had been new Ford owners in the past. Two purchased new models of their exiting vehicles (Subaru and Toyota) and another went from Kia (two new ones in a row) to Mitsubishi. All are happy.
