I used to own a el ghia, full system on it, cai and lowered. mint car. sold it to a mate a few years back.
He parked it in parramatta last week and he returned to his car to notice door open and hood unlocked. he particularly noticed the door lock barrell looked like someone drilled it and there was some sort of lubrication gel around the key barrell. what ever they used they opened the door and managed to pop the hood. Car has an alarm and ignition barrel was untouched. not sure if he surprised them upon return. Did smartlock repell them? Who knows. he has not parked the car since but will need to do so soon. Any other foiled or botched attempts out there? |
