Like others have said it seems like someone has it in for you big time. Were any adjacent cars damaged? If not then its funny that they would only target your car? It's not as if it stands out being a stock standard BA Fairmont Did you cut someone off or fail to give way to anyone on your trip there?
It's also surprising the lengths they went to, by damaging every panel with both dents and keying. Surely someone would have seen or heard the commotion. At least you were insured and presumably had this car as a knockabout car to use instead of your GT, so would be less bothered by any damage to it that if it were happen to your pride and joy.
