DRIVERS on the Bruce Highway were shocked when a car exploded into flame on Sunday afternoon.
A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said firefighters received several calls about the fire at 4.46pm Sunday. “We got multiple 000 calls because obviously a lot of people were driving past on the highway and it looked very bad,” the spokeswoman said. “The car was a Barina which caught fire just around the corner from the Ettamogah Pub.” Car fire A car fire sparks a grass fire on the Bruce Highway at the Mooloolaba exit.
