Hey gys just tiding some files and in a file I have marked as regos/receipts I found rego and transfer papers from cars I haven't owned for over 10 years should I keep the transfer papers and rego certificates or just shred them and turf them or do I need to keep them

Keep for 7 years if for Tax reasons
BUT Keep them forever cause for no other reason than you are a car guy and I wish I had the first rego I ever paid for my first car or regos for my bomb Sigma, XB Fairmont daily driver, XY Fairmont daily driver and XY GT....but they are all are gone... |

If you dont need them for tax purposes just keep the current ones.
Dealers always ask for them at trade in time to get the engine number.
