Rough guesses:
Assuming it's a 6 120-160rwkw
Assuming it's an 8 130-170rwkw

If it's an 8 your heads will hold you back.

Wrong section to ask mate

With buying an EB falcon always make sure its a series 2, these were built after april 1992

the series 2 has the 4.0litre that has alot more power than the series 1 which had the 3.9litre

if its the series II 4.0litre and you like the way it goes, then i say buy it...

power might be around 160-170kw, if its the series II 4.0litre

Go get a dyno run and stop guessing. It will cost you $80 at most places that have 'em.

There isn't much difference power-wise between the 3.9L MPFi and the 4.0LMPFi. I'd be tipping between 130 and 145 with the mods listed and depending on the cam. Manual certainly makes the ol' E-Series fly, and with a shorter diff it should really hammer off the line!

There is a big difference between the 3.9 and the 4.0...
six cylinder engines available for the EB:

3.9 120kw
3.9 139kw

4.0 148kw (series II)
4.0 161kw (series II XR6)

assuming its a 4.0 litre then with the mods described you should be at least at the XR6 level of output of 161kw

make sure its a series II!!

Umm, no, there isn't.

The 3.9L with 120kw you refer to is only in CFi EAs and EBs. However, there was an option to have MPFi on both models (standard on Ghias) that boosted power to 139kws. Obviously the EBII and ED did not get CFi (thank God!) and came standard with 148kw (slightly different bore to the 3.9L). The 9kw difference is not much considering that the car is a bit lighter than later model EBs and EDs.

so do you have a problem with me advising to make sure its a 4.0 litre? 9 kw would still be noticeable...

why are you so defensive about the 3.9?
