Hey all,
As the month comes to an end it seems Ford's latest offer worked very well for dealers and I am looking forward to seeing the numbers. I think Focus and Fiesta numbers will surprise..

I took advantage of it on a Territory purchase!
I do agree with Dash GT, though - the 2 Ford dealers I went to had sweet FA in regards to FG Falcons on their lots (Adrian Brien had more FPV's in stock!).... something is amiss with Fords dealings with the Falcon. |

I took advantage of the deal and purchased a new Focus Sports for my daughter.
Talking to the sales rep, he mentioned the deal worked really well, they could keep up with demand for Focus, Festiva, Territory and Ranger, expsecialy Ranger but not for the Falcon. I personally don't understand it, I hired a XR6 for two weeks over Christmas while on holidays, they really are a fantastic car and a joy to drive! The Falcon is a tuff car, well built and suited for Australian conditions, these conditions are unmatched anywhere in the world, Ford Australia CEO needs to sell this message and push this product in Australia and export it to the world and save the Falcon!

Might be a good sales month, but the previous months ,while others offered good deals, sales would be shocking ...... Ford should have jumped on the 2.9 % bandwagon in the beginning not months later ... They could have had a good few months if not more of good sales, not 1 or 2 months Imagine the sales toyota and holden were having while ford held back ...... Even VW are doin 2.9 % on the new amarok ... |

Never even heard of this deal! Was it offered on all models in the range or just specific models of each car?

A supervisor at work bought a new XR6 on this deal, in fairness he had already commited to the purchase but once he swapped to the cheap finance he optioned up the car a bit more.
Win-Win for Ford in my eyes. |

Is this over?
Unfortunate for us that I missed it - we are looking to roll our 2 older vehicles (2004 escape and 2008 3) into a new more suitable for a family car like a Falcon or Mondeo. |

Wont happen overnight but it will happen, let's hope they continue to offer deals like this and not rest on their laurels for so long next time. It generated a good discussion within my circle of friends and also within my work environment. Who knows maybe someone read my thread

Why are people surprised by lack of falcons? They have been 'build to order' for well over a year now haven't they?

2.9% is still a lot more than some of the others are offering. I'd be surprised if it made a huge difference.

I cant believe people did not know about this?
I thought it was televised well and there were 10 times more Fords ads on TV over the last month. Also in WA both the Saturday and Sunday paper motoring section had more than one full page ad on the 2.9% with drive-away pricing for Fiesta, Focus, Kuga, Territory and Falcon. The deals were also good and not inflated like other low interest finance deals. |

Drive away price was 25,375 for a Candy Red 5 speed manual. A week earlier they had them for 23,990!

Go read the small print on the "others" and compare it to what Ford were doing, it wasn't the same.

XR6 Turbo Limited Edition for $42k drive away with 2.9% finance. If I didnt have a big Turbo Diesel that owes me another 2 years I would have jumped.
Only issues with all of this is you had to dig right down into their website to find the offer on the Falcons.. (Past the 2.9% pages and drill down to the FG Falcon page and then the price is only in fine print down the bottom) Buggered if I know who runs the Ford website but they need their ***** kicked. How can these offers be so hard to find??????????????????

NEWS FLASH
2.9% is happening again in February, only on selected Falcon sedan and all Territory, good news! If you guys get stuck and not able to find what you want to buy in Falcon I will try and help you. Please don't take notice of the "there is no Falcon stock" out there, its BS.

Can someone in the know please clarify the terms on the Ford 2.9% finance compared to others? e.g finance max term etc. Why is the Ford offering so much better than others?
