How times change.
https://www.motor1.com/news/743766/t...to-stellantis/ The recently locked Stellantis thread, when on-topic, was about how the Europeans had stuffed their American cash-cow, probably by not understanding their market. Dealers were in rebellion. Within a month, the CEO is on the way out, and Tim Kuniskis has been invited back to to RAM. Tim is a muscle car guy through and through. So, within about a month the US is going to drill baby drill; how long until Hemi baby Hemi? And: please Dodge, come to Australia, sell a wagon version of the forthcoming 2025 Dodge Charger, with the Hurricane or Pentastar 6 each is fine, and a column shift bench seat setup. Then I can make Grampa great again. Edit: mods can you change the title to 'Kuniskis back' instead of 'Kuniskis back at Dodge' - typo! Thanks!

Give us the wrangler with the 392 Hemi at a realistic price.
Not some shitbox four cylinder turbo at $100k. Last edited by Captain Stubing; 11-12-2024 at 09:42 PM. |

Here's a story on 'how Stellantis destroyed Jeep', it's coming from the US Union movement so take that on board - but it's valuable in showing from the factory floor perspective how they stripped both workers and quality out of the production, while declaring huge profits:

Gents, keep in mind this thread is focused on the automotive side of Stellantis, and is not a continuation of the failed discussion closed yesterday.

Imagine discontinuing the only thing you had going for your shitful automotive company that was a significant part of your brand identity and heritage (Hemi V8)
Let's see if the new CEO reverses the decision or he runs with it. Last edited by Franco Cozzo; 12-12-2024 at 11:36 AM. |

Strange considering Stellantis was stopping the purchase of carbon credits
to allow continued V8 production. Sounds like the chiefs are doing back flips. |

My money is on Kuniskis bringing back the performance side of Chrysler/Jeep/Ram.
Let this be a lesson, never let the bloody Europeans try to force their ideas on the rest of the world.
