Default XF to XD interior

Can someone please tell me if it's a simple bolt-in job to put XF Fairmont Ghia interior into an XD Falcon. ie. door trims, seats?
Does the XF dash fit the XD?

Most of it will fit, but I'm not sure about the dash. It should fit, but the electricals may be different.

If you are useing the XD rear doors you will need to weld 2 bars (1 per door)
to give the pull handles some support or youwill just be pulling on the door trim to close the door

The seats, door trims etc are all just bolt straight on. The dash is another matter. The wiring is different, the wiring looms are totally different. You would also have to change your oil, fuel, temp senders to electronic ones. I was going to do this, instead I stuck a 351 into an XF Ghia instead back in '91. It worked out cheaper than putting xf ghia stuff into a XD or XE with a 351.
