Its not always about loudness, its about sound quality as well. I have a system in my car, its hardly ever on loud but its much clearer than stock. I hop into other cars and cringe at the sound quality.

EDIT: oh, and mine system is secured pretty well. Original speaker mounts FTW!

regardless there is not much point listening to music, your better off listening on the radio to where the cops are.

Then there is no point to v8s/turbos/superchargers or even 6 cyl, as a 4cyl camry will get you from point a to point b. Besides, how could you need that much power on the road?

There is no point to fancy restaraunts, 2 minute noodles fill you up
etc, etc

If you don't want to enjoy the small things in life, then whats the point of doing anything?

Why would you need to know where cops are? That isn't a concern of mine when driving. Oh, unless of course you drive like a hoon and have a high chance of being caught.
Anyone who loves their music will want to listen to it all the time, whats wrong with doing it in the car? What if you are driving on a straight boring highway for 3 hours? Music or cops? I know what i'd prefer...

This is very true i am an ex-volunteer firefighter and have seen it in the past when called out to a R.A.R (road accident rescue) once i spent 2 1/2 hours trying to keep a guy concious that had been smacked in the back of the head by a tissue box and he was in a bad way he was travelling around 80Kmph...... the moral of the story is that nothing should be kept there on the parcel shelf ive seen the results firsthand : : :
