Have to admit until I saw the other pics I could not pick what car it was

hope you dont have an issue with insurance

would love to see you get another fg though but in saying that it is a great thing to see you are getting another Ford

Will always have a Ford in the stable... one way or another! But the fourby bug has bitten again, So that will be a toy for a while, Until the minister of war & finance loosens the purse strings for another toy.

Insurance cover is great, we will be back to $0.00 in vehicular debt as soon as they write it off.

My speed limiter is set to 120 - anything over that and she punches me in the arm.

Holy crap!
Did they even hit the brakes??

You show great self control...for a lot of people it'd be a case of "I'm glad you survived that accident...I'd hate you to miss the beating I'm going to give you..."

Wow ... as mentioned by literally everyone else ... lucky no one was in the car at the time.

Looks like the drunk driver didn't touch the brakes at all ... especially if the coolant reservoir exploded from the impact (at the other end of the car).

Spot on .. I would have rather taken that hit in an FG than even my 18" long, all American steel Plymouth Fury ..

Glad eveyone was OK.

yep, the driver of the vitarra should be very grateful they hit a 5 star car and something on wheels. had they hit a more solid object the result may have been very different for them.

Bloody mongrel waste of space drink drivers, there's nothing I loathe more. It's such a selfish dog act, to get wasted then risk people's lives by getting behind the wheel. Really sorry to hear your pride and joy is gone mate, but at least nobody was hurt.

I was 1/2 an hour away from it when I got the call from the missus. and asked for a pic to be sent to me so I wasn't too shocked when I got there. I felt very disheartened that it had happened but very relieved that she was in the car when it happened. The original pic although bad, didn't look as bad as the pics I posted above, and the pics just dont do the amount of damage done justice either. Still very disappointed that it is gone, and want another to replace it with, but times have changed and our needs are very different now. on a side note, shares in kleenex tissues will be on the rise as I seem to go through a box of them every time I look at the pics
