Pepscobra,

The comp end July 31st at 5pm

My problem is I think the the little blue Mitsubishi also has a club or large group of friends (maybe half of Japan) behind him as he has managed to get where he is inside 3-4 weeks - he seems to jump 20-30 votes in block hits. The comps been going for nearly 3 months.

Oh crap .... Guy's looks like I'm in a little trouble the little Blue Mitsubishi ricer is going to take the lead soon - he has managed to jump 83 votes since 8am this morning.

Any more votes out there would be really appreciated - would hate to see the piece of Jap crap win over a Ford.

Well, the day that we all were beginning to think would never arrive, has finally come.

Yes, today is the last day of this comp ---- roll on 5pm

Our lead is 324 votes ......with no activity from anyone over the past 5-6 days.

A last minute rush ...maybe ...who knows ??

Either way, I just want to say a big thanks for everyone's support and patients with putting up with me badgering everyone to death about voting.

Win or loose ......Thanks everyone !!

Congratulations on the win mate! Last time I checked the leaderboard (About half-way through the month), the "Student" Evo was in the lead, that news made for a very unsatisfied camper on this end of the keyboard. Very glad to hear that you pulled through and got a well-deserved victory. All's well that ends well, as they say (Whoever "they" are ).

I reckon the Shelby rims are an awesome design, I would personally be inclined to bump the size up a little (Although I wouldn't go anything above a 17" - Pity they don't do a 16"), but hey, 15's will work just as well on such a classic (and classy) sled. At the end of the day, go with what your heart is telling you, it is, after all, your car and your win. All I can say is, enjoy your new shoes, whatever you decide they are to be, and once again, a huge congratulations!

Congrats on your win mate! Did you order these yet? I think those wheels will look good, and the S drives are pretty good tyres. IMHO the S drives are a good, sporty tyre and they offer good 'feel' but don't have excessive amounts of grip compared to some other sport tyres. They wear pretty well though. I'm a fan.

Here's some pic's of them on the car.
