Here are two types of rim that i am considering. Both have "old school" history.
Performance "challenger" and "superlite" in 15" x 10" & 15" x 7"

I had 18 x 10/8 FR simmons on my coupe, they looked real cool. Sold the coupe now have the wheels on my Zephyr. Those wheels suit any car as long as you have the room. On a falcon coupe you have the room no dramas! they were a 50/50 offset with still room to spare. I think RRS use to do a roh wheels package for the coupes in a 12" set for the back.

Pinkbits I may know where there will be a set of 15x10 and 15x8 globes for sale soon,the circuit racing guys use them,but with the availability of 17" race tyres now alot are going this way,the wider globes look great on a coupe as the offset goes out more than in,I have a set of 15x8 on my sedan and cant get wider than a 225 or 235 tyre as the wheel tub isnt big enough,but would be perfect on a coupe with a wider tyre.

My personal taste with coupes is they need dish. Whether there old school slotters or 20" chromies, they need some phat dish, especially on the rear.

Those wheels don't suit .As most have said so far you need dish for the coupes 5 inches of dish at the rear at least and 2 up front .
Wheel diameter is not as important as the dish 15x10 at the rear or 18x10 at the rear both look as good as each other .
I always look at overall hieght of the package not just the rims or tyres . 15 inch rims with profile of 50 would look as good as 18 inch rims with 30 profile tryes in my opion .

polished 15x10 Weld draglites would look mad under your coupe, would suit the colour of the car perfectly

that bright pink needs lots of shinyness ;)

If you look closely, dumped behind the valance panel on the outside of the springs.

its a personal preference thing, but something with dish, 12 slotters look ok, might look better with xa xb gs caps? and no white letters on the tyres? and lowered a bit. Just dont go those jelly bean rims...... you have good nick wheel arch moulds!!! rarer than rocking horse poo

I sold those rims to a guy on ebay a few weeks ago,then saw them for sale again not long later saw them for sale again,looks like you got a set of my wheels in the end anyway

Edit:those wheels are a perfect fit under a ute,not too many 10's will fit under a ute.

After asking him heaps of questions he still swore black and blue that they would fit properly. When i picked them up and saw the rub marks on the inside i was dubious. I told them i would take them but was'nt prepared to pay for them until i was satisfied they would fit, he was fine with that.
Did you get the story about his coupe as well?

Very strange,I met him at calder and he was an hour late,he'd slept untill 10 on the monday

old school rims on old school cars look good..suit it.. not new one i think it makes it look cheap.. when it defantly isn't but its your car and not mine do what i thibk cause you are the one driving it and not us

you can get some wheels custom made to suit - dragway i think does, boyd coddington, american racing wheels etc. but at least with the challengers they fit straight of the shelf. mine have 265 x 50 yokahamas and just barely scrape if at all - the lips on my guards are not rolled - and the car is lowered 2 3/4 inches at the back. they are probably the safest bet

Mongrels! I looked at superlites 13years ago for my Triumph and was told they were about to discontinue them. I love that style of rim, pretty uncommon now. If you're feeling rich Minilite is apparently about to do a run of 15x10 like the ones Moffat used.

Yes they did thanks, i don't mind them, but she who must be obeyed is holding firm on challengers with the lighter coloured centre and spokes.
