Why is he a tool? Sounds like he has a sense of humour to me.

I wouldn't worry about anything ACA or TT cover...

Its not so much as having a sense of humour. Hes meant to set an example. If a member had that avatar it would be alright but IMO it wouldnt be acceptable for an admin.

We all know how usless the reports are on ACA and TT. We also know they often warp story's.

But if it is reference to a site that supports negativity towards the police, no respect for the road (or it's uses, their cars or the law) and brag about it. They should be condemned (or worst).

I was busy stuffing my face when the program came on, what got my attention was the XR cluster being shown... then some AU drag racing on some freeway...

"ACA- file footage may have no relevance to our story"... ???

yep fully agree, then again knowing the media they will probably twist the whole story and make us look bad...there very good at doing that to very innocent people.

Its still hard to believe that there are people out there that continue to live day in and day out on one piece of useless information. Just because you drive a commodore doesnt mean that the rest of the world should.

I think it is discusting that this website hasnt been flamed out of existence. We know who to blame when we are all riding around in robot-piloted hybrid cars on rails.

Yeah I noticed it was gone too. I wonder if the coppers actually succeeded in taking it down. I bet an official email from them to the forum provider would've taken it down quick smart :the_finge

There was a thread earlier and someone was mentioning the fact that certain cops surf the various forums in order to find out about the hoons and their planned activities-

If this is true, I don't think that there is much need to worry about this forum and those involved falling in to disrepute.

The article in the papers about holden versus ford now being a web-based persuit will have enlightened many people to this sites existence and people will have logged on to see it for what it is- a highly informative, enthusiast run information gold mine regarding all things automotive, including legalities and what we hate on the road.....usually involving dangerous idiots, irrespective of their chosen brand of transport. :

Yeah i would be willing to say that people on these forums that do illegal crap they are just smarter not to publish it and the mods and admins are playing their role good to get rid of it if it does get published as brags. If im not wrong arent IP adresses logged?

A good comment on the camry- the one thing that I love is Holden- the only true Australian motor car........Designed in Germany, engineered in the U.K (HSV with TWR and Lotus) running an American motor and a Jap box!

I actually quite like many Holdens but the attitude and lack of knowledge from their supporters :MrT_anim: dumbfounds me.......

I couldn't agree more, it can get very frustrating.

Remember though, Ford's decision to stop producing V8s basically caused the lost of a generation of young supporters. This generally means that most hardcore Ford supporters are older in age as we remember when Fords were dominant on the race track. We can usually have a fairly mature discussion about motoring (noticed I said usually as it's not always the case LOL).

These guys are young and they have their opinions and nothing is going to change that. I've noticed on this and other Ford forums, since the BAs have starting winning we are getting younger supporters and they came up with the same attitude that the young Holden supporters have.

And before I get flamed by every P plater, I'm not saying that everyone who's young is a one eyed smartar$e with no knowledge. There is a lot of older members with the same attitude and having young supporters is definitely a good thing.

im glad this forum has cleaned up the majority of the hoonish/illegal type posts, one thing i hate is ppl who condone hooning then go act in the same manner.
i has changed my ways and it takes trial and error and education/penalties but maybe these guys off this commodore site need more then a slap on the wrist.

i for one see it as a few young blokes showing off,why cause they can and cause they seek the attention they cant get whilst out of their cars so doing something illegal is their time for attention seeking poor children will learn one day.

Don't tar all Holden supporters with the same brush because of the foolish actions of a stupid minority... I'm certain there would be just as many idiotic brain dead ford supporters out there, but that doesn't make all of you the same does it??
You're forgetting that there are also many decent, switched on and responsible Holden supporters out there.
