I couldn't agree with you more.
Oh, I forgot to mention, I filmed that video, a LONG time ago, as is evident by the kays on the clock.

NL Tickford Fairlane with 5.0 was a nice car. It had 195Kw with sports suspension. I had a drive of one, it had nice smooth power.

One of the best combinations of seating and chassis in history, close behind was the R16.

I don't think Ford Australia managed to source a decent V8 from Cleveland ending in Falcon from 1982 to 2011 or whenever it was that FGII scored Miami

Wheezer - boat anchor (vs Tickford 6 excl T3 and LS1)
5.4L 4V - boat anchor (vs XR6T and LS1/LS2/LS3/L76/L98)

Add in the mighty BTR and it's 1st gear, be lucky to keep away from a 22RE Hilux
Sprint 302 has great top end, was faster than equivalent HSV in it's day. Not boat anchor in the same way AU1 XR8 auto I tried very much was, and EB 165kw jobbie was (so smooth tho) with torque all low down.

R12 was very good with comfortable seating and a chassis that could survive North Africa, too.

Something like this doesn't come along very often, basically a brand-new BF MK II Fairmont Ghia. Finished in Icon blue with the lovely China Beige interior.

I'm not sure if others have noticed this, but it seems Falcon prices have gone down recently. The cars below seem pretty well priced for what they are, low km, tidy, nice spec..................

This one owner AU Fairmont with only 38,000km on the clock, has the wrong exhaust system though.

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/det...E-AD-16126899/

BA Fairmont Ghia with only 31,000 km on the clock, one owner, Winter White. Although the rust in the engine bay is a bit alarming.

BA Fairmont Ghia with 76,000km on the clock and in one of my favorite colours, Congo Green. Actually, it's rare to see that colour without peeling clear coat. Congo was discontinued not long after the BA launch, mid 2003. Actually, I wouldn't mind buying this and taking it to the next level.

Some superb spots there! A veritable feast of unicorn eggs.

There was a bad batch of bonnet strut pivot pins, I’ve seen them corrode like that before.

Pulled the trigger on a new daily roundabout.. tidy stock standard N/A XR6 ute for 11.5k which seemed good value in the current market.. caryards are trawling Marketplace pretty hard for anything they can get some profit on, missed out on some similar options for the same price only to see them pop up for sale the next day for 50% plus mark up

After daily driving tuned turbo's for years I got a nice surprise when I filled up the ute for the first time, decent range!
