This. Fantastic little cars, the WS Fiesta. Mine's not an econetic - it is a LX - but it is fantastic on fuel, still handles like a gokart, is safe and comfy enough. Got offered $8,500-9,000 trade-in on it recently. It is a 2010 model, one owner in good condition with 38,000km! Thought it was a fair price.

Who's going to pay more than 10k for a 5 year old car. Don't know why anyone is talking AUs. The scrap man has been supposed to pick up our AU classic for a couple months and he can't even be bothered for $300.
Prob cos its only a stock/base model? AUXR6/8 or Fairmont def worth more.

How many k's has your AU done? Someone here might be interested in it?

Put in For Sale section.

98-03 Outback Wagon?

Cheap to run, plenty of parts AWD for taking the dogs down the beach and reliable as you will get.

We've got a petrol WS with 210,000 on it still drives as new, the money value of it would only be six grand or less but of course its too good of a car to sell for its "value". I'm surprised it hasn't needed new shockers or anything else, still tight as. Also got a XR4/ST with 60,000 in the family and that's an even better car but I'd guess the goodness of it is mostly in the motor and springs. Its not so economic either but you might get one of those for around 10k too. Youd definitely get a petrol WS for under 10k but I'd go for the diesel if it was just for general daily driving and I was spending 10k. I can't think of anything better for the price.

The AU is perfect other than it starting to rust in the shock towers, its probably not worth the time or effort to repair that, its got 250k on the clock. It was a very reliable and good car for what it was. But the world has moved on all the new smaller cars are 100 times better so we took it off the road.

I will sell you my BA XR6T for $10k.
Every option possible. (I never knew XR's had a high series dash available until someone pointed out I had door open lights in the dash-something only fairmonts got so I am told)

I have been using it as a fill in car while doing work on my XR8.
Retired mechanic too, so I have given it everything its needed.

If I had the brains I should have spent the money I have put into my XR8, on the turbo, however I had the XR8 first, and I love it like my first born child (lucky I don't have a second).

The turbo would be at a show level by now (and deserves to be due to the option level it has)
It only has 155K on it. You can tell its been driven daily, so I have evaluated that into the firm price already.

No I am not trying to push my car onto you. I just know its filled in well during its time, and the towbar has allowed me to sort out the dogs when needed.

Fits the bill if you like your turbo 6's already.

Almost talking myself into keeping it.......
