I remember when I was younger Dad stopped at the local general store in his white 89' Rodeo cab chassis. Him and my sister went into the store while I sat in the ute. Anyway, a mate of Dad parked next to him but didn't lock his doors. The thing was, his ute was also a white 89' Rodeo cab-chassis! Anyway, my sister came out of the store and then went and sat in the wrong ute! Dad had a good laugh over that one!

I've seen a few Rapid/black Mk2 GT's that look almost identical to mine but they don't quite sound or go the same :

I've pulled up close to one ute a few times the exact same as mine. But once I was going through carindale when I pulled up at one of the first light's next to a winter white series3 au xr8 sedan. We both looked at each other smiled and waved and then he showed me what 2 extra cylinders can do : .

Back when I was at Deakin Uni, was waiting for the light to turn green to allow me to turn into station street (was on Highbury Road).

Saw another Orion Silver VTII Acclaim with the plate QJT 289. We're 302.

I took a photo on it with the phone.

Never seen exact twin of mine.
BA series 1 Xt, lightning strike, with SR body kit, 17" alloys, sports susp, tow bar and dark tinted glass.
Has all the same goodies/kit as SR, but XT badging.

Actually right now it is unique, coz I smashed teh front lower bar recently and the panel beater stupidly put a std BA front bar on it!
So now form teh sides and back it looks like an SR but from the front it looks likea stock XT!
(he has the rproper one ready to clip on "drop it in anytime and i will swap em over")

That said, there is a Mulberry coupe on ebay at the moment. Quite nice looking.
I know this thread is old but I have a 12/73 XB in Mulberry with 14x7 Globes

The closest my car to having an identical twin is the car around the corner and down the street. Slight difference between the 2 are that it's Velocity blue (mine Shockwave blue) and the no.plate is a only 11 digits difference (mine 439 - twin 450)

Silver VTII Acclaim, from Geoff Brady, QJT XXX
Ours is in the 300s, the spotted one was in the 280s.
When I was turning into Station Street off Highbury road, it was going further down Highbury.

I've seen 2 VP's advertised for sale that were similar to mine. Haven't seen one exactly the same yet. Being a series one irs executive 5 litre with fe2 there were probably only ever a handfull made in the first place. I can remember when I was a kid we had a VH SL/X in ice green with a silver pin stripe. I used to look for one the same all the time. Once in a while you would see one the same colour but it would be an auto without the pinstripe or a different stripe. Never did see one just the same. These days I hardy ever even see that colour but I also think the chances of getting a car from the factory different to any other were much greater in those days when you choose what car you wanted and they built it for you than they are now with such limited options
